With August came the beginning of school for Morgan and fewer outings for the family.  Carson became a full-blown dress up queen. We have a large chest in our bedroom filled with dress up and Carson loves to try on everything.  She also loves to have us take pictures so she can look at herself. 

Carson continued to become a stronger swimmer. One day she watched Mommy work out in the pool so she wanted to try on the cap and goggles also.  She is learning quickly and swimming further and further by herself. Loomis Dolphins here we come!

Bracken is all over the place. He loves to play outside. He loves the water also. He wants to put his face in the water and he tries to kick. He has often times popped himself out of his floaty toy.  He also loves to cruise all around any piece of furniture he can get his hands on. He loves Nonnie and Pop's kittens and seems to be saying cat.  And whenever Lurch comes around Bracken is impossible to hold as he squirms and shouts, "dah, dah." 

We got to go watch Pop make wine with his friend Gene. Carson was interested for maybe one minute.

Nick was able to travel with a group from our church to Nicaragua to help finish off a well building project.  His trip reminded us of our Christmas 2007 thoughts and reminded us that we definitely want this Christmas to look different. Click here to see Pics from the Nicaragua Trip.
