In January we were at an exciting stage with project home. The septic tanks and leach fields were finished. From the outside, the house looked like a legitimate house, from the inside it still looked pretty bare, but better every day.

Carson was loving life at Nonnie and Pop's: swinging on the giant swing set every chance she got, and "reorganizing" the kitchen drawers whenever we turned our back.

Morgan and I took a trip up to Zephyr Cove on Lake Tahoe as the guest speakers for the Cove retreat. This was our first attempt at the guest speaker thing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We tried to explain God's call to intentional and regular Sabbath. We experienced a bit of Sabbath ourselves and had a delightful time reconnecting with old friends. We even got to hit the sledding slopes with Carson for an afternoon.
